Big Brother Naija: A peep into the lives of past housemates

Ten years ago, the very first edition of popular reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria (BBN) was launched, a spinoff of Big Brother Africa. Throngs of applicants struggled on the queue to be selected for the show, but Katung Aduwak, Ebuka Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, and a few others were among the lucky ones who made lasting impression on the judges. For those 14 lucky housemates, the platform offered on a platter of gold an easy entry point into the entertainment world. Thus, the show brought to the limelight 14 vibrant youths who entertained us with their different personalities and unique talent. Ultimately, Katung Aduwak emerged winner and carted home $100,000 after multiple rounds of public voting and contestant eliminations. Project Spread: Showing Love Through The Gospel

It is the mandate of the church to go into the world and preach the gospel. The greatest of this gospel is that of love. It is a core responsibility of the Christian to show love to all irrespective of religious and cultural backgrounds. House on the Rock has taken this mandate seriously as displayed over the years through its outreach program, Project Spread. Project Spread is a love laced program aimed at making the Christmas season a memorable one for families around Lagos State. This is done by donating food items, clothes, medical supplies and more to families in selected local government areas so they have a reason to celebrate joyfully during the Yuletide season. Last year, over 2,400 families across 4 different local government areas were beneficiaries of the Project Spread outreach. The Experience 2016: ‘Revealing Jesus’

House on the Rock Church has announced the 11th edition of its annual gospel concert “The Experience” scheduled to hold on the 2nd of December 2016 at the Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos, Nigeria. The Experience Lagos, as it is popularly known, has been home to thousands of worshippers every December as it heralds the festive vibes of Christmas. BIG BROTHER NIGERIA RETURNS AFTER 10 YEARS HIATUS

MultiChoice Nigeria has announced the return of the Nigeria reality TV show based on the Big Brother TV series. Now referred to as Big Brother Naija, the show will air on dedicated event channels on DStv and GOtv in January 2017. Ugbe Speaking on this latest development, Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria, Mr. John Ugbe said the comeback of the show is one of the ways the company is enhancing the quality and variety of content available on its platforms.
